Original Ar-9s on the bay (Ohio area)

If anybody has an interest, these AR-9s in Ohio may be worth checking out. I have never listened to AR-9s but at least two members are proud owners (George Grand and ohskigod). George has already indicated that these are original models. Not that I have really been looking but these are fairly rare to come across i believe. Local pick-up would save you a bundle.

I live 25 miles from one of the 6 or 7 Centervilles in OH....If this is the one, I could pick them up and store them for as long as needed (seriously).

Man, something just isn't right about it. AR-9 doesn't go for $2,300. They aren't really that rare. LST is rare and goes for that kind of money, but not the 9. Good for him.

the woofers looked refoamed, but one of the midbasses looked cracked and in need of work. cab looks in great shape, but 2300? I'm in George's camp. wierd.

Off the top of my head, there about as "rare" as finding a big SDA in your area. wait, and one will pop up. I paid 800 for mine with refoamed drivers (midbass and woofs). seen rougher examples go for less (needing work of course)

Unless you're the seller... NO different then any live auction. At least two people wanted them, real bad, and pushed price into the silly range. Check out the Barrett-Jackson car auctions. Same thing sometimes.
