Ok you don't hear anything anymore about the B-52's anymore. since they haven't put out anything in something like 12 years.. other than greatest hits types compilations.

well they finally have some new music coming out next month, Funplex.
In March 2008.

and I got tickets tonight to see them in concert in March as well. ;)

Wow! The girls lost weight for that cover shot! They were pretty big plumpers for a while there. They look great there though!

I had no idea they were making a new album. They were huge when I was just getting out of grade school and in to high school. They got played at every school dance and we even had to suffer through playing a cheesy marching band version of "Love Shack" at the football games.

Some people don't like them but if you ever looked at the sheet music for the songs, they have incredibly complex rythms and some songs even have 3 part harmonies. Talented writers and musicians and that Kate Pierson has some pipes!

Shame she's a lesbian because she was pretty hot back in the day.
