System modification

I am adding a second Alpine mrv-t420 to my system. I will be running it mono to my momo 6500's. Any thoughts about calming the tweeters down a bit? My system consists of:

Alpine CDA-9833
MRD-501
MRV-T420 x 2
MOMO components (MMC-6500)
MOMO MM-104 (in bandpass enclosure)

I should note that this system is in a 2004 Nissan Frontier
extended cab pickup.

are u running them with the external crossovers? if so make sure they are switched to -6db

Yup, turn down the attenuator to -6 db and see how that sounds.

Another thing you can consider is to bi-amp them. Run the tweeters off one amp and the mids off the others. Better yet, run the one amp to each side for the best separation. That way you can use the gains to attenuate the tweeters output.
