Box requirement

I just purchased new momo 12-4 and was wondering about the enclosure requirements. The volume requirements from polk says: 0.88 cube for an optimum sealed enclosure.

question:

Does the internal volume of the enclosure need to be 0.88 cube WITH or WITHOUT the sub installed?

.88 is after displacement...wich means..after the sub is mounted. In the spec sheet...it should tell you the displacement of your sub.. just take the .88+ sub dispalcement + any bracing..and that is what size you need
