Fair is relative to who you talk to, but last summer I bought a pair identical to those that were mint for 750

I bought a pair last fall for my buddy for around $400 I think it was. Less than $500 though. Then, they got the updates. 6 tweeters, new terminals, grill cloth all the way around, caps and resistors.

Good luck to everyone on these. Unless the seller is a member here or has done some research, he probably has no idea what they're worth. He probably picked $800 out of thin air as his "I hope I can that much for them" price.

Offer him $500 cash or less and he will probably be happier than a baby in a topless bar.

Unless you're not hurting for cash and want them really really bad and don't want to take a chance at missing them, pay him full price or close to it.
