Think im ordering the FXi A4 tomorrow....couple questions...

Looking to order the FXi A4s tomorrow, it was a tough choice between those and the Rti4......

Questions i Have:
1) for a 5.1 and with the price of the FXi A4 right now, what would you say is better the A4 or the Rti4??

2) Not really a speaker question, but what would be some recommended speaker stands for both, i think im going to go 7.1 after i finish my 5.1....any help would be appreciated.

Especially in a 5.1 set-up, it is the preferred THX set-up! If Amazon still has them for the same I got them for $249 new! Get them now worry about the rest later!

Thanks, i was thinking the same but you know, when your new to the whole building your own, and with all the options out there, its VERY easy to get confused and lost in the choices. Looks like im ordering as soon as the money is deposited .

I also am thinking of ordering these for my surrounds. Will they match well with my RTi A3's and CSi A4? I just got them yesterday and I absolutely love them. The cherry is simply beautiful. But I still need new surrounds and I was looking at these but was unsure if they were the right surrounds to go with the Polks that I already have. Thanks for any help!

Cool. I think you'll be very happy with them. Can't help you with the speaker stand question. Is wall mounting not an option or do you just prefer stands?

Polk's website recommends the bigger Csi5 and whatever the new equivalent is (not the Csi A4 since that is the Csi3 equiv) for the proper match to the Fxi. However it also says the Fxi is matched to any Polk gear on the product info for the Fxi. It's up to you.

I got a pair of Fxi A4 for Christmas and I've been very pleased with them. Granted, I had no surround sound speakers before so I can't compare them to anything, but they are good as far as I'm concerned.

Thank you, that's good to know cuz I went ahead and ordered the FXi A4's from Amazon for $249. That's the best price I've been able to find anywhere. Everyplace else I've looked has them for $399. Now I will have the RTi A3's, the FXi A4's and the CSi A4. If I understand correctly, everything should work well together....:)

Also wall hanging really isnt an option because of renting...

Anyway, I was thinking of getting 2 pairs of FXi A4s for my LSi15/LSiC setup with an Onkyo 805.....

then again, I wouldn't be very timbre-matched, so any way, I couldn't get the FXis...

I got mine today and they sound awesome. Can anyone share their 5.1 setup using the FXi A4s so I could play around with that ?:D
