Hey all,
Wasnt sure where to post this one..
attaching a picture of my screen.
in the upper left hand corner of my screen there is what appears to be a vertical mark (like a liquid substance ran down the screen)
It is 8 inches in length on a 100'' diag screen. This picture is just of that area of the screen... it is not a pic of the whole screen in which case this huge mark would be going down the entire screen.
the mark is visible from certain angles and disappears at others... I do not have the projector yet to test and have a limited time to return. the projector could take a week to get here ground from NY.
This is an elite screen so it only cost 100. but cost 20 to ship, so to send it back is going to be at least 20 bucks if not more. I expected problems going with a cheapy... but not sure if this is worth it.. even though it is obviously visible under my ceiling lights...not sure if it will show under projection.
also if you look at the screen from side views up close you can see the entire screen has similar marks like the screen was wiped down, or that these impressions are made when the screen is made if the material is applied in some way as a liquid then dries???
Is there a proper cleaning agent I could try wiping the screen down with to see if it makes the mark go away??
thanks for any advice
