Any Suggestions on a high powered house amp with a spring loaded subwoofer output

I have two 10" Klh Car Subwoofers enclosed in a ported box i made awhile back. I currently have it hooked up to a panasonic boombox deal. The low outputs are only putting out 75 watts a piece and i need alot more than that (I love big Boomy Bass) So i was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions on a more powerful amp.

so, you propose to find an amp that accepts speaker level inputs, to be driven by a panasonic shelf system, to make your car subs louder.

dont be offended. there is a lot wrong with that proposal, the first of which is you will destroy the balance between the low-out and the high-out (probably crossed over a lot higher than a "normal" sub). next, i dont know of any AC powered amp that accepts speaker level inputs. not saying they dont exist, but i have never seen one. third, those systems are designed to work together. that means no subbing (no pun intended) of speakers, and no addition of amplification (likely, and obviously, with no provision to do so).

i mean, really, if you want boomy bass and lots of mediocre output for little coin, consider going to wal-mart and buying one of the sony HTIB systems for $200-300 or similar. i can almost guarantee it will outperform the system you propose, and could likely save you money in the long run.

Well i suppose it doesnt have to have spring loaded. i was just wondering if anyone had any ideas for my poor little Subs lol. I mean they bump decently hard rite now, it just sounds like crap because there is still music playin outta them.

I aslo have a SA101 Yorkville Coliseum Amp. it just got handed down to me and i was wondering what all i could do with that.

If the power is sufficient, put an inductor inline on the subs. Value will vary depending on their impedance and what frequency range you want them to play, but it will act as a simple 'choke' to filter out frequecies above a determined number. You will loose a little bit of efficiency, but that's probably the easiest solution for a dirt cheap, simple setup.
