k so, amps are NOT turning on, checked remote wire... everything seems to be in place. all the wires look good.... i pulled out the fuse.... some of the plastic is melted/burnt.... but the fuse itself looks good..... what do u guys think?http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg264/danielelo/car/IMAGE_035.jpg

I think you need to switch to an ANL fuse holder and make sure its not next to anything that gets got in your engine compartment.

yeah i know.... i need 20 bucks though :(!!!!!!! umm do u think the fuse is okay?

Hard to tell from your blurry pic. But they can 'partially' blow and look fine, but limit your voltage to about 5V, which is not enough to turn on your amp.

Also, if youre not running big power, you can get away with the MINI ANL fuses, they can just be semi-hard to find sometimes.

idk... 1100w rms big power? 2 mtx amps.... ummmm only way to test would be a meter right?

1100w rms would be fine on a mini anl. Meter would be best, but I wouldnt use a burnt fuse.

Those are the exact ones that I am running. I just bought a few different fuses to have on hand. Came in handy this weekend as I ended up needing one for my sub amp. The things was not putting out power for a couple of weeks, finally had time to look into the issue.
