One knob is missing,I removed it and put it on the Adcom pre that I gave one of my daughters for Christmas. Cosmetics--6,a few scrapes and dings,Funtions just fine,very solid little outboard DAC. Please pm if interested.

This is a great DAC. If you are looking for a solid 18bit Dual Burr Brown class A dac, this is it.

I agree. I was fortunate enough to get one of these off a junk pile and I was stunned by how big a difference it made. I was running an older Carver cd player and after connecting it , I was surprised by how much life it brought to my music. If you're on a budget and wondering how much difference a dac can make on older equipment, you owe it to yourself to try it. Big improvement. Even works better than a lot of the built in dac's on newer cd and dvd players.

I ordered some Adcom knobs over a year ago, so they should still be available. It's not that old and the styling hasn't dramatically changed.
