I ordered something from them a couple of months ago. They sent an email with a shipping date then came back a couple of days later and said the item was on back order. Mails went back and forth and we made a deal that they wouldn't charge me shipping. Last promised shipping day came and they charged my CC for the speaker plus shipping but provided no shipping info. After a week I finally get another email saying the speaker hadn't come in yet. So I asked for a refund. I finally had to file a dispute with my CC company and I guess that worked, a week later I finally got my refund. I'm not the only person they treated this way.

Sean, Don't you mean caveat emptor? I think what you said is "Let the buyer fish eggs?"

Cravat Emptor, actually, if he's really well dressed.
Isn't there always a pair of 9's in the FM to make this High-Deficiency dealer unnecessary ?

If you buy through HighDecibles be careful with them.
They are borderline dishonest. They make promises that they don't keep unless you have some assistance.
Go through Google, so they can assist you with your order like I did.
You also have to stay on top of Google too, their assistance people are not the brightest. They repeat the obvious.
I ordered a sub from them and the order took several months instead of days.
When it arrived, it was damaged. They arranged a return with Googles help and I finally received a good subwoofer but without the warranty card.

Sounds like it's better to go with an approved dealer rather than trying to save a few buck & get ripped off.
