HI Kim,
I have two momo 120's and I was curious if the Kenwood amp KEN KAC929 which has a peak power of 1000 watts bridged could power these subs correctly and give me the bass i am lookin for. I am looking for a quality amp and I was curious if you would reccomend this amp and I would not have to worry about it breaking or not sounding good. I was also looking at the Alpine MRV1507 which is $300 dollars more than the Kenwood. Is it worth the extra 300 dollars to by the alpine which has a peak of 1500 watts bridged?

I would probably lean more towards the Alpine. We have used these in our demo vehicles and they have worked great with our subs. This amp does not have enough power to sufficiently drive these subs. The Kenwoods' continuous power rating in the bridged mode is only 460 Watts and this is at 14.4 Volts. There is not a specified power rating for 12 Volts applied at the input at the power supply. The specifications do not tell you if this amplifier is capable of driving a 2 Ohm mono load. It does specify a 2 Ohm Stereo rating. So be careful. Spend the extra money on the Alpine. Install it, listen to it, and enjoy it!! I don't think that you will regret it.
