quick question about stereo hook up. i am not sure what is the best way to go about this. i have a pioneer 71., 770 watt receiver which i want to power my 2 polk 11t's, and 5 yamaha satellite surround speakers. should i get a 2 channel amp for the polk to power tyhose and connect it to the pionee? how shoul i go about it to optimize what i have. thank you for the input

You could get an amp for the Polks, but if I read your post correctly, your Pioneer receiver is 7.1? Your receiver will allow you to hook up the Polks and the 5 Yamahas in a 7-speaker configuration. Is this what you are trying to accomplish?
