Most likely yes, since the dining room table wont be there to pile stuff on anymore!

Why not join a gym Las? Gives you the chance to pick up a 2nd lady friend for extra mating. Kidding.

Are you going to fit on that Boxflew? No height requirement maximum? :)

You will love your new Bowflex. I have had mine for years. It really does give you a great workout for most things. Takes a little getting used to.

Thats cool,
I also are looking at the BowFlex Revolution Orignal. I owned the Wiedner Xp800 which used a power bar and a built in electronic trainer. The problem with that machine is it didn't have any negitive resistance. Work outs felt wierd. I owned it for 4 years now and I hate the effin thing. So for the last few weeks I have been looking at a new home gym and came across this as well.

I think Sears carries it so I can give it a try before I buy it. I like to get my hands on it so I can decide if it's worth the money. I also considered going back to the gym but joining a different gym then the one I used to go to.

good luck with it.

Nice! But, I'd have to agree with some of the comments above, if you are close to a gym you should join one instead. Better workouts, classes, and cardio machines...and of course lots of hot chicks to enjoy, not going to get that in the dining room. :)

Good luck with the workouts!

Screw the gym and save the money to join the gym and then save your time to drive there and back.

Get a 200 lbs set of weights with the bar and bumbbell set and you will get the same results. Put the weights in the basement and give your wife the dining room back.

They still sell tread mills in San Diego, WFT. The weather is always great there so why not run outside in the open air?

Weights work fine and they never break and are cheap to buy.

I guess you have never seen Sal. 200lbs would probably be a warm up for him.

Well you can get a 410 lbs set of olympic weights for about $200 to $300.

That would keep anyone busy.

I've been to gyms before, but you know the story, it's easy not to go if it's not too close by.
I'm sure I'm not the first who's paid for a gym and hasn't gone.

Why join a gym if the gym will be in my house?, I have my own shower, my own music, my own exercise bike.

Now I can set up another rig for the workout room ;)

I hear you, my brother looks like one of those guys in the bowflex commercials, he said he will help me create a routine.

That's a great idea, I usually buy from eBay first, i have 412 PF. But right now with paying off the wedding I cannot spend $3700.00, so I financed it through them, they gave me a $4000 card. It will cost me $65 a month; easy as wedding cake (my wedding cake is $9.35 a slice, 120 slices)

Bally's is opening a new gym 2 blocks from me, very cool, they will be open in August. I need this now, I cannot wait any longer.

I'm in NJ, cold in the winter. I have no basement, I rent, and the landlord is in the basement. Weights make too much noise. I already rock the house with my 1.2tl's!!!

Good for you! I go to a gym but only because I have to. My Nautilus is at my house (where Satan lives). I guess I could go get it but it would cost a lot to take apart and move it and put it in storage.

Working out at home rocks!

Possible Solutions for Darla:

1. Kiss and make-up. (i.e. become a Satanist)
2. Join a convent and become a Sister of Poverty.
3. Divide the house in two with a yellow line separating the two sides.
4. Natural disaster followed by major insurance pay-off.
5. Bulldozer. I recommend the Caterpillar D7G.
6. Catch a highly contagious (yet curable) disease and move back home. Sneeze a lot... a whole lot.
7. Setup a surveillance crew to document illegal activity that is occurring at the house while you are away. Have Satan arrested.
8. Move back-in and play VERY LOUD MUSIC AT 3AM ON A SET OF SRS'S.
9. If Satan is allergic to Cats... bring in several. If she's afraid of snakes, move them in too. If nothing else, perhaps she is allergic to scorpians?
10. Best idea yet.... move back in, find religion (fake it if necessary) and invite the Jehovah Witness guys to worship in the living room EVERY DAY until Satan is gone.

AndyGwis

This may turn out to be the best $3700 clothes hanger Sal could've imagined, if you ask me :)

Not that home exercise equipment is poorly built or doesn't work as it should, but it just doesn't seem to work long term for anyone.

Best way to workout:
1. personal trainer (you have to be there cuz you're paying a $hitload of money for it)
2. working out with a buddy (good motivator, again you pretty much have to show up)
3. working out alone at the gym (you got up off your a$$ and drove there, may as well work out a bit)
4. working out at home (I have weights at home but will only get in a few sets of something before I get caught up in something else, be it TV, computer, music, laundry)

I guess it all depends on how commited a person is and what they are trying to accomplish. I belong to Planet Fitness and have a Weider Pro9930 weight machine, Nordictrack recumbent bike and treadmill. Works for me and my ladyfriend. I should probably work out more on her and do less 8 ounce scotch curls.:D

You want exercise? Don't PAY for it, get a job in a package sorting department at a shipping company. You'll drop weight and get pretty cut and they will PAY YOU to do it! Watched a friend drop 130 pounds in about 8 months working extra shifts for Emery Worldwide sorting freight.

You would't go to work if you weren't getting paid and you won't exercise if it's not fun.

I've been called a fitness nazi, but I really don't care about fitness much, I just have a lot of fun riding my bike.

I personally would not have fun on that thing inside the house so me being what some would call a "fitness nazi" would hang laundry on it.

Now since its raining and the gf and I are not going to be outside, there is a little naked yoga planned followed by ketel one and tonic and ice cream. Thats my kind of indoor work out :)

I give him crdeit for trying. I bought one almost 10 years ago. I don't use it as much as I used to, but it's there for when I want to. Gyms are a great motivator, but some people can motivate themselves at home. It's a great workout, plus you don't need a spotter, you don't have to wipe it down from the last guy, and you don't have to look like your trying to impress someone else when your on it. It does have it's falults, but it is built like a tank, and pretty gives agreat workout, plus it is expandable to fit your needs. I am not talking about the cheapie Sears model.

I've joined gyms before but found myself being more consistent with working out at home instead. I have a mini gym in my basement that's now collecting dust due to me blowing out my back.

When I come up there if there is one speck of dust on that thing I'm going to put my foot so far up your ass you'll think you've grown a new tongue.

Other than that cooool. I really hope you put it use. Working out really does make for a sound mind, body and spirit.

The DVD is very good, it goes over every single exercise and makes it very easy to use. I've been using it every other day and my arms and legs are getting much firmer. My problem is cardio and diet still. these are the things I need to overcome. I have an exercise bike as well and I use it for around 6 mins and I loose total interest.

I'm hoping that the more exercise I do the easier the other two will become.
