Considering the A6 is still around $399.99, is it worth the extra coin in comparison to a new A4 or Cert-used CSi5 ? I'm toying around with the possibility of picking this up today to finish up my front area. I haven't been able to find the CSi5 anywhere new, exception onecall.com which doesn't have any in stock. Although they claim to be recieving some. So if anyone has a heads up or know of where to get one, I shall worship you until the end of days.

Also are there many differences between the two lines considering sound ? I've heard the CS2(although not even in the line) and CSiA4. I haven't had a chance to hear the A6 or CSi5 and through some searching on the forums have determined they'll mate best with my RTi10's. So I need to pick one up... recommendations as always, are always blessed with appreciation.

If you go the A4 route you should look for a csi3 to match the 10's better....they should still be 130 somewhere.

Anyone know of a place still selling CSi3 or CSi5. Used or new, doesn't matter. Canadian store/seller is prefered, but i have a few friends in the US that I can get the speaker shipped to.

I have the A6 with my RTi10's and love the combination. I've never tried the CSi5, so I couldn't tell you how they stack up. The only input that I can give you is the RTi10/CSiA6 combo rocks!

I have RTi8's for fronts. So i'm kinda torn between CSi3 and CSi5. I'll probably go for the one that i can get the best deal on. If i can snag the CSi3 for 100 bucks somewhere (clearance sale??) then i'd be one happy person. I'd pay $175 for the CSi5. Hopefully i can get something before the old stock get's cleared.

I called onecall.com yesterday to inquire about the CSi5 centers because I was considering purchasing either the RTi8s or RTi10s. The gentleman I spoke with told me that onecall convinced Polk to make one last run of the the CSi5s and that the expected delivery date would be July.

The website states the price as $199.97 with 3 day FedEx as $25.59. Total with 3 day is about $50 from your price range but if you can wait until July, it may still be a good buy. Thought I'd just pass on the info I received.

I currently have an Onk 705 with no speakers and have spent the last three weeks running through possible options so I cannot speak to the quality of sound produced from this center. However, I have read many posts from people using it that state it is a very good center.

I think I've settled on RTi A5s, CSi A4, and Fxi A4s for my new Onk 705 based on feed back from this forum. I can't wait until July :)

Crutchfield has them for $299 and yes they are currently in stock (website says "Low Stock." They must have found some in the back of a warehouse :)

you could also try to snag one of the scratch n dent or open-box specials at Crutchfields to save $$ on the csia6.

Horizontal centers are way over rated. Get yourself a single rtia1/a3 and you'll have a better sounding system for less money. http://www.nousaine.com/cen%20chan%201.htm
That said aesthetics, wife appeal, and cabinet size sometimes make our decision for us.

One place i found that sells singles:
