I am NOT selling this amp.
This was my amp; the guy that bought it is a re-seller or something. He listed it even before it was delivered to him. He must be in a hurry because he has been lowering the price almost every day. This is a GREAT deal and the amp is as new. It was upgraded to the reference version a year ago, with a new silver face plate.

No affiliation.
P.S. list price is now $5,000

Just curious... is he still making a profit?

No, he's not. Losing 10% so far.

That's strange, losing 10% on a just purchased amp.

I know the history of this amp FWIW,,I've e-mailed the seller as of yet, I've heard nada. Great amp for a great price,,Ricardo,, do you know the disposition of the original faceplate?

Sounds fishy to me.Who knows, this guy might put up a picture of the amp he bought from you,but might send you a different amp without the upgrades.

I’ve dealt with Dariusz a couple of times with analog gear and IIRC Joe has too. While anything’s possible, I don’t see Dariusz pulling a bait and switch. He has earned that 834 all positive rating.
If your so interested in his motive, ask him.

The original face plate stayed with D. Belles when he made the upgrade.
I don't think there's anything "fishy"; as Rich says, he has earned a very decent amount of positive feedback.

I've done that more than once -- bought a piece of gear, then quickly changed my mind and sold it for less than what I paid in order to finance another purchase.

Just heard from the seller,, possible sale pending,, he will let me know tomorrow regarding the status. Apparently he's going with Pass Labs amplification with his system,,and he's got a possible link for me on another 350 reference.. He seems to be very legit,,and helpful. Just an FYI--FWIW.

Sounds legit. Good deal, go get it!
There are a lot of people (countless on this forum even) that buy big ticket items, then change their mind and firesale.
One thing we know for sure, this guy isn't much of a flipper on this deal :)

It's nice to know the original buyer (now the seller) is sticking to the original deal, even though he has changed his mind about what he really wants for an amp. Good man.

I think the wife will give him more hell if she found that he got rid of the gear at a 10% loss...:D

That amp is most likely my personal goal line. Appreciating the improvements on the way up is what keeps it interesting and somewhat affordable.
At reasonable levels, did you prefer the original JFET setup or the upgraded Reference more powerful Bi-polar/Mosfet setup? In other words, at 90dB, with the ?dyns? was it worth the upgrade?

It's on my short list,,, the synergy with an Audible illusions pre was just spectacular to my old ears. It will be my "final frontier",, just like Early's last/final speaker purchase. ;):)

The reference version is better with bass. I also had a "hum" problem with the original version, that supposedly was very common.
This is a very good amp, but in all honesty the Marsh I am using now has the same virtues, with only 120 WPC and at a fraction of the cost. My Dynaudios are 4 ohm/86db, and the Marsh drives them as good as the Belles.
