need help urgent!!! want to install car sub+amp for home audio woofer.

hey guys i have got creative inspire t7900 7.1 channel surround system in my home but i am not happy with the output of the woofer so i am thinking of installing the car sub woofer+amp in place of the old woofer that was offered with the package.i am interested in pioneer sub woofer+amp as it gives best quality. any other suggestions are welcome.

does the car sub woofer+amp sound better in house .has anyone tried it out

just want suggestions regarding options of sub woofer+amp and my budget is around 5000k but anyways i can increase it.i want amp only for the subwoofer as i will join the amp to the sub woofer.

i want the address from where i can buy the sub woofer+amp in pune or will i get it cheap in heera panna mumbai , other sugesstions for cheap buy options are welcome.

The sub shouldn't matter if it is for home or auto use. The question is: How will you power the auto amp? An AC to DC converter to handle that much current can be expensive. I use a JL Audio 10" (car sub) with a plate amp from parts express in a diy ported enclosure. Plate amps are fairly inexpensive.
