Yes. I just bought a pair of Bose 2.2 speakers at a yard sale for $10.00. Ok. I guess I'll just leave out the back door now ....

Hey, I have a set of 901 Series IV's and I'm not ashamed. For some things, they actually sound pretty good. They don't replace my SRS II's but I do enjoy listening to them on occasion.

What kind of Bose? Bose cubes or Bose bookshelves?

The cubes wont work without the bass module, there is some serious EQing going on in that bass module.

Portal FTW!!

I read in a gamer magazine, people had a harder time destroying the cube in Portal than harvesting children in Bioshock.

I really need to get my own copy of Portal. I'm not much of a gamer but that's a real trip.

No need to.

You are still a law enforcement officer, right? Just paint the drivers with concentric white circles and take them with you on your next trip to the pistol/rifle range.

Such good sound.:)

Fortunately considering their foam surrounds they almost all are blown apart.

Don't feel too bad Darla. I've still got a pair of Bose Interaudio 4000 in the garage that I bought as a clueless teenager. We all screw up now and then.:D

It's a cleverly disguised "Make Some Kind Of Confession You'd Ordinarily Never Make" type thread. Smokescreen all the way. I'm not biting.

Lemme get this straight.

First you bought Blose. Second, you bought Blose & you can't even play them!

Darla, you really really need to seek immediate help. That's just plain WRONG, CERTIFIABLE behavior!

You should be taken off the streets at once, we don't need you infecting anyone else with such questionable actions!:eek::eek::p:eek:

The sad thing is I cant even hook them up. All my stuff is in storage. Maybe I will put them in my future garage someday.

Way to go, girl!

That was your plan all along, wasn't it?

Paper can sound really good if it is built right. Paper tweeters can even go ultrasonic if they are made right.

Bose tweeters roll off well before 20khz, but it's going to sound warm and fuzzy, but not accurate. Hook them up with a low end 70's receiver and you have yourself a garage rock-out system, but I can't see them being more than that.

I'm not even angry.
I'm being so sincere right now.
