I bought Hydrostream's NAD monitor 1600 Preamp/tuner, and wouldn't mind getting my hands on a manual for it. Any idea where to start? I contacted NAD support via their website, but they were little to no help at all, after taking 2 weeks to respond. I thought you folks might have a suggestion?
Thanks in advance.
Google is my friend--I found vintageaudiomanuals.com, so any OTHER suggestions? Thanks

Here is a web site that you can put in a request or search for a manual. Seems someone is also looking for the same manual here.
www.Audio.ManualsOnline.com
Seeing they are in Canada perhaps I will try and make a call for you this week. Good luck.

Here is a reply I received today after e-mailing them this morning. That was quick.

Thank you for your recent request via the NAD Electronics web-site.
While PDFs of almost all current products are available, at http://www.nadelectronics.com/support/manuals_framset.htm we can not provide manuals for earlier models on our web site, because of the tremendous amount of space involved and because we do not have manuals for all prior models. Nor can we email these manuals.
It may be possible to obtain a written copy of a prior manual at a charge from the distributor for your country. Please contact the distributor for your country, as listed at: http://NADelectronics.com/dealers/index.htm or in North America please call 1-800-263-4641 ext. 4487 (United States), or ext. 4424 (Canada).
Best regards,
NAD Electronics

I got the same email, but mine got stuck in customs ;) and took 2 weeks to get to the US.
I also registered at www.Audio.ManualsOnline.com , but I don't hold out much hope of finding one there. I got a quote from vintageaudiomanuals.com, $11, I may just go that route. Has anyone dealt with them before? Reputable?
