Velodyne sms 1

So i opened my new SMS 1 and set it up per instrose and the damm thang wont AUTO EQ. It will play the manual tets tone and i can ajust it but when i Try auto eq pressing 321 it will play the same test tone 3 or 4 times and will turn itself off and on 2 or 3 times and go back to the main screan. Any ideas?

Definitely. I vaguely seem to remember this problem. Just skip the auto EQ and do the manual. It's better anyway. I seem to remember that if you do the Auto after you have tried to manually EQ that this happens...? I could be wrong. It's been a while.

Have the outlaw stuff and i called Vell..Tech, What a dick this guy answers the phone Hello Hello.NO prof... treatment at all. I was doing every thing wrong and im an asshole for calling. This was how i was treated anyway. And if i am doing everthing wrong & i could be, you dont treat people this way. I will never buy anything from Velodyne because of this Fu..... Ass hole. Im glad i got the sms from Audgone.

That's a shame you had a bad experience with Velo tech support. I had the exact opposite experience...they went out of their way to explain things to me & they didn't mind answering any question I had regardless of how dumb it might have been. I suggest you give them another shot. We can all have a bad day!
