i have a question for someone. Has anyone used bass shakers and how do they work? I know you have to hook them to your receiver but if you already have 7 speakers how do you hook them up? DO you really have to use your pre outs on the receiver and get a second amp, and lastly are they cool?

If your receiver has more than one LFE you can use the extra out to the amplifier of the Bass Shaker (buttkicker in my case). If you only have one LFE you can use a y splitter with one male and 2 female to split the signal.
INDEED>>>>>VERY COOL!

will that take away from my sub? I have heard that splitting will take some of the signal from the sub, but i have no idea. DO you need watts to run them or just a signal because splitting the signal will provide no watts since the sub is powered.
