OMG........you have your amp sitting right under the fire? I didn't realize amps needed external help in warming up......:)
Well the thing has yet to heat up so I decided putting it by the fireplace will help things a bit. hah ;)
Just to note however, this "set-up" was only for the photo.
Oh man you must get a killer soundstage with those things 2 feet apart.
I know it was just for the pics, I couldn't resist though.

Phuz, nice family my man...
I did the same thing with blocks trying to keep my 55's stable in a 7.1 settup. I feared my 2 year old would knock the speaker over or worse it land on her. Well, that lasted about an hour because unfortunatly I had them set up in the middle of the room behind the couch and the Wife said NO!, NO! and EFen NO Way! so back to 5.1 I went.
Oh well:(

ATC,
No need to say that your rig isn't anything to boast about. Here is my take, if you have something and it's YOURS and you dig it, you have every reason to be proud of it. I think it's way to easy to get caught up in trying to set up a rig (and this applies outside of audio too) or what have you to gain the approval of others. Eff 'em, I say. If they don't like it or don't approve: too bad.
It wasn't that many years ago that my rig consisted of a pair of old Boston Acoustics, a 2ch receiver and a POS cd player. But, it was MINE and I bought it. I thought it was cool then and I think it's cool now.
Just remember, those that feel the compunction to make themselves feel superior at the expense of others do so because of their own insecurities.
My deep thought for the day.

TroyD,
I agree with every word you have written. I am quite proud of my rig. All that is next on my list is a pair of interconnects to match my Z2 bi-wire's. A new source would be nice, keeping my eye on that phillips dvd/sacd player.
And sometime down the road - I will most likely purchase a monster ac unit and the RBH 1010 sub
To everyone,
Thanks for the comments boys! Really means a lot. Its been one hell of a long and costly road so far- but well worth it in the end.

Can't say that I have, but I've been there. What part?
And yes I can't say all of that stuff is mine. Just the 15's and the turntable. The rest is steve and russmans. That was a fun weekend.... hehehh.
