At a younger age, I used to play a lot of computer games. Anyone who is into computer gaming knows that if you want to keep up with the new games and get all the glory out of the graphics, then you need to upgrade regularly. This is expensive and often frustrating.

Audio can be like this, but once you've found a system that works for you and sounds great, then all you have to worry about is music! Any upgrading is purely choice. I mean seriously look at LPs, how old is the technology and tons of people still love and play em.

Polk SDAs are another great example or Troy's Quad Elelctrostats or Treitz's Amazings . . . all speakers over 20 years old that sounded great back then and still sound great today when compared to the newest technologies.

This hobby rocks.
