Find out when your check will be deposited/mailed out to you.

:D

Your tax rebate check will be in the mail sooner than expected!

The Federal Government will start sending tax rebate checks Monday.

President Bush hopes we'll spend the cash and pump $50 billion back into the economy.

Worst idea he had,but Ill accept it.

While nobody can be expected to know everything about everything, you depend on the people you hire to steer you straight.Lately,I am really stumped as to the economic advise these morons are shelling out to the gov.

I was under the impression both the stimulus and refunds are done by the last two digits of your soc #. I have a friend who is in the single digits got hers about 3 weeks ago, another in the teens got hers a week ago, I am in the 30s and got mine on Friday. We are all direct deposit.

I'll wait to see IF it clears, before I spend it.

Enjoy your stimulus. Apparantly, I don't qualify for one as they consider me already stimulated.

Don't see how that's possible since they were waiting for the tax deadline before they sent them out. That's the only way they know who gets one and how much.

Sorry, didn't pay attention to the thread title I was responding to this:

I was talking about income tax refunds. The stimulus package doesn't look to be coming much earlier, I checked about a month and a half ago and the schedule looks the same except they start mailing checks May 16th when it was originally May 23rd.

Since this years tax return I did was a direct deposit deal.

Will this one be also?

If so May 16, sounds nice to me.:D

Can't wait to get my check but I'm paying down debt. No stimulation of of the economy coming from my wallet! If they really want the economy to rebound, they should tell everyone they don't have to pay their tax bill for 2007.

If you choose direct deposit for your tax return you receive direct deposit for the stimulus as well.

Like grampa giving you a quarter. The treasury is printing money faster than the tax revenue comes in anyway. The dollar, and your days work, are worth less for every unbacked dollar that is printed. There is a breaking point for most, and I would like to believe that the country as a whole is just overworked and tired, rather than just plain stupid. I am probably wrong.
