I have the CineNova Grande Amp, I called the factory (Earthquake) today about the common ground interconnection cable issues (connection of my SRS-SDA 2.3tl). This Amp is a Mono Block design and it will not work with the factory interconnect cable for common grounds. I have searched for the "isolated interconnect cable", or how to build one myself and slim results. I called Ken At Polk Audio today and he suggested posting a new thread asking for help.

Hopefully others that have built one will chime in. I think the Stancor is the preferred transformer

No, not the Stancor. You want an Avel.

Thanks for clarifying. I had a 50/50 chance of getting it right :).

Yep, don't waste your time or money with the Stancor.
Jesse- is the Avel you listened to in the shoot out thread the same one Scott used to build his AI-1?

I tried to upgrade my SDA interconnect with a new transvestite and it turned into a serious problem. My wife is still angry about it.

I contacted Earthquake, and the individual mono block modules are actually bridged mono block designs. You need to make an A1 to make it happen. Do not tie the grounds together!

Yep, there are several other threads with missing posts. Probably due to the "reconstruction" Justin did earlier. Apparently he was having issues transferring the most current data over after he did whatever magic he does.

Just blame it on the moderators, it's easier to do.

No blame, just telling him how it happened :). Something weighing on your mind.
