Okay, before you write me or this post off. I just want to say that tonight (Thurs) i got tix to see Cher. Yeah, i'm not a big fan of Cher. Have a few newer CD's of hers but that as far as i go.
Wow! I haven't been to a better show in years. This is her farewell tour. Yeah, i know. she'll probably be on tour again in less than three years.. they all do you know.
But it was so much more than just singing for 90 mins. it was dancing, light show.. good guitarist, drummer, keyboard player. It really rocked. I was impressed by the whole experience.
If Cher comes to your town on her farewell tour.. shell out some change and show her some love. Take your wife/girlfriend/sister/brother or big gay Al ha ha ha. it's worth it.
Dang, she looks good for her age too. I think she's a stones throw away from 60 yrs old if i'm not mistaken.
FYI. Cyndi Lauper opened for Cher. I was very impressed with Cyndi too. she only played for about 45 mins.. leaving the audience wanting more.
I also like Heart (saw them in Aug), Foreigner, RHCP, STYX, Aerosmith, Annie Lennox, and most anything with the exception of rap and Eminem .
