Anyone who would pay 60 dollars for that tweeter is nuts...

I dont care how it sounds -- they are old, fragile and would probally last you a year most if you use your speakers at all...

The new ones, the replacements are so much better.

There was a guy on Audiogon selling a pair of used sl3000 tweeters for $120+shipping and a pair of MW-??? mid woofers (NOS) for $120+shipping.

I sent him a polite e-mail explaining that his prices were way too high and that Polk charges less for new in box stuff with a warranty. I see his listing is gone. I know one needs to test the market but I guess if someone is willing to pay it, then that's how it goes.
