Started off a little slow but wow... that was amazing. I too would pick up one of his albums in a heartbeat if he released something that was recorded well.

Wow, that really is amazing. I'm in awe. I'm still trying to get so I can get to a G and a D and an E and a A fairly well.

Gosh. I think I've been one upped. No, more like a million upped.

I'd definitely buy an album, too.

Almost sounded like Eric Johnson at a few sections.

Canon in D was good but being a trumpet player, Canon in D sounds flat without a brass instrument IMO.

However, More Than Words was excellent!

You can tell he lacks a maturity in his playing but you can see a progression from his early stuff to the more current stuff. He certainly is something special.

Ya gotta check out how well he does with Nirvana, The Mamas and The Papas and Hendrix too. Has Clapton down pretty good too. He does Africa too but he seems to need longer fingers.

This kid is following the styles of some of the greater finger style guitarists..

"All along the watchtower" is fantastic! He borrows directly from Michael Hedge's take.

"Africa" is a very admirable attempt to imitate Andy McKee

(Andy's take can be seen here; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dt1fB62cGbo

Probably just a question of WHERE he'll end up, Juliard, Berkeley, NECOM...
He's got a LOT of open doors ahead of him.

I love watching children with talent like that. Awesome.

Awesome, definitely has some serious skills. The Irony of this is, I saw a kid around his age in Guitar Center yesterday with some sick skills on a full drum set.
