Today is my 30 year anniversary at work.
I started out as a long distance operator at Pacific Northwest Bell. I've been through the Bell System break up, 3 different corporate names, 6 different job functions, and two different states.
When I started most people still had rotary phones, and fiber cable was still in development. Personal computers and broadband??? Bwahaahaa.
It's been an interesting thirty years.

LOL. In the 20 years I've been working, I've more jobs than I care to count. When I graduated from college, I thought that you get into a company, do a good job, and spend retire with the same company. Two years in, economy turned south, company went bankrupt, and I was on the street. It's really an amazing accomplishment to stay with one company that long.

One of my favorite workisms is "it's not my fault they hired me". I use it frequently.
