Well i have my setup almost complete. I'm sticking with my RTi10's and CSiA6 as my fronts and center because i am falling in love with them. But returning my RTiA1's.
I was going to get two more RTi10's for the rears but with my room setup, couch directly against the back wall, I'm not sure thats a smart move. So it was basically down to the A3's. But now i just noticed i can get FXiA4's for the same price, would there be any benefit with one vs the other?
My rears are right up against the backwall on my two end tables next to my couch.

Which ever bookself you go with you may want to take them off that table and hang them higher up on the wall. You want them at least ear high. I sampled both csi a4 vs a6 center and the a1 vs a3 bookself.
For me it was not worth the difference in money. The a6 and a4 vocally was dead even but when i turned the sub off and put the center at full range the bass was so much better same with the bookself speakers, but i don't think it's needed if you got a sub.(imo)
I run my fronts ,center, and rears all at 80hx(thx) and the bass at zero so the extra depth the larger bookself and center gave is not needed because of my setting and subwoofer.

I switched my CSiA4 to a CSiA6 and noticed quite a difference. But anyways what i am curious about is the FXiA4 vs RTiA3. If i wanted to hang these up on the wall i'd have to stick with the A1's, but even they are just a little to big and i just wouldnt like how they looked. At the very least the speakers are at my ear level, when i'm sitting down.
But even if i did decide to hang them, how would they be placed. In the corners, angled like they are now, or above the couch facing straight towards my tv? Just curious.

I am limited to my placement but this works great for me. This is a picture of my RTI 4. My chairs are about 2 feet from the wall and I has my two Polk psw 125 subs behind them. Now i have rtia 1's back there

Hey Abner,
How do the FXi A4s integrate with your LSis...I told someone on AVS not to mix them, but I had thought you had switched out the RTis and gone total LSi.

Ron, the LSi LCR integrates just fine with the RTi/FXi. I've played over a 100 movies thru the setup so far :p
i would have gone all LSis if they were not so damn heavy and hard to hang...

Let me start of by saying I haven't heard the RTiA3. For your setup you might find the ability to switch between Dipole or Bipole advantageous. No complaints form me on the FXiA4's I have in my surround position.

Consider the Btech 77 wall mounts from Crutchfield.
