SR6500 on an Accord

guys im about to buy my SR6500

are these going to fit my Accord 2000?

I already check on crutchfield but it says rear deck just the SR5250 fits on the kick panel.

what should i do?

I cant say for sure on a 2000 model but they will fit on the next generation only with some cutting of the door and 1" or more in spacers. The 5250's will drop right in tho.

buy the 6500 or the 5250 for the accord...

i already take meassueres, and i think i can make the 6500 fit

should I invert the polarity on the tweeters?

i have the tweets on the dashboard, next to the windshield

Cant go wrong with either. I used the 5250's last season and they were awesome. Spot on imaging. Im using the 6500's now and am enjoying the fatter midbass but theyre harder to get the imaging focused up just right.

If you can fit them, Id go with the 6500's but if not I would in no way hesitate for a heartbeat to use the 5250's. Im telling ya tho, if you go with the 6500's plan on doing a little hacking. Those babies are a little fat around the basket.

As far as tweeter polarity - yes. If youre not going to use time alignment, swapping the polarity does help in the Accords case.

im doing the time aligment, but now with the bi-amp and the 3 way on the HU, im thinking thats going to do a huge change in my SQ.

also I ordered some new rca and speaker wire from knukonceptz

i will post some pics on 3 days, wish me luck...
