For Sale: Monarchy Audio Digital Interface Processor (DIP) $100+shipping
This little box is a great way to improve the sound from a cdp before it goes to a dac. This is the Classic model I believe. It worked great between the Monica or Adcom dac and the sony es cdp. It has selectable coax and optical inputs with coax and AES/EBU outputs. I used it to convert an optical signal to coax to work with the sony cdp. Really took that digititus away!

Have you ever used it between a pc and 2 channel pre?

Wondering how it would work streaming pandora over digital coaxial into the dip then regular coaxial into a two channel pre set at bypass.

I havent tried that, no computer source yet. I think it would help lower the jitter on the digital out of a pc . That helps reduce the digititus.

Does this unit upsample at all? I can't remember if the Classic does or not.

No upsampling, at least thats what I remember. I used it for cd playback only and it worked well.
