RTiA1 or RTiA3

I'm still trying to decide between these two speakers. I have knocked the FXiA's out of the running because i'd have to place them practically next to a wall, and not sure if that would be the best idea. Do any of you have any inputs on which one of these two brands would be better for surrounds. I currently have RTi10's as fronts (maybe switching to A7's).

I'm trying out the A1s vs. the RTi6 to see how differently they handle midbass information. They're both up to surround duty, esp. if you set them to small anyway with your monster fronts.

I have the A1's right now, but they just dont seem to come alive as much as i expected. I just wonder if the bigger driver in the A3's would make them come alive more. Or maybe it doesnt matter either way and its just the nature of using a speaker as surrounds.
