tweeters SL1000

Hello, I am currently looking for FOUR SL1000 tweeters for a pair of vintage floor speakers. Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated :)

First welcome to Club Polk. Second what model speakers do you need the tweeters for?

Hello ben.Thanks for the welcome.The speakers are SDA2.These speakers were given to me by a friend of mine who was moving.He told me there was something wrong with them.The tweeters sound funny,I called polk audio and they told me to check the fuses in the back of the speakers.I said what fuses?So I am going to check the fuses and do tou know what an interconnect cable is? I pulled the tweeters in both speakers and one speaker has sl 1000 tweeters and the other speaker has sl 2000,Does that sound right to you.Thanks for you time and trouble replying to my posting.keith

The original tweeter was the SL2000. The new replacement for them is the RDO194. How many tweeters do you have?

I have 4 tweeters,I think they are all bad.Before I buy any tweeters i am going to check the fuses and try and find an interconnect cable..km

Take the tweeters out, and measure the resistance with an ohm meter. They should be about 6-8 ohms.
