I may have the ability to buy two carver 1.0t amps to run my RTi10's and was wondering if anyone as used a carver amp on polk speakers or have used this amp. Any news on the amps is greatly welcomed. thanks to all that answer this post

It depends on the price and how good of shape they're in. Will you dig them? In a word - hell yeah. They, Polk and Carver, go good together for some reason.

But don't get all caught up in the sauce and get rooked, as they aren't the absolute Carvers. But they will turn the trick...

How many rti10's do you have? One of those Carvers will power a pair of 10's perfectly, no need to bridge. The 1.5 I have rocks my 12's. I think for the money, the m1.xt are about the best amp you can get. Go for it.

I use a Carver TFM-55 (from Tom) on my Polk SDA SRS II's with great results and also have an M-1.0t that has always done a great job as well. It's sitting idle at the moment in the closet as I don't need 200wpc on the Klipschorns. :D I did have another M-1.0t and (2) M-1.5t's but sold them since they weren't getting used either. It just got to where there was too much equipment around not being used.

I run one 1.0t to drive two RTi4s as my fronts - it was a 'left over' from my previous two channel only setup - so I reconfigured it into my avr using the pre-outs.

I can fill my family room with sound and the Carver is barely pumping! Clean power with lots of headroom.

I've used one of my M-500t's to run a pair of LSi9's. It's a match made in heaven.
