Court overturns a parent's disciplinary decision. 12 yr old actually took this to court? holy sh*t dude!

in the Psyhic case, at leas the equivalent of Child services (CAS) had the common sence to drop the investigation quickly based on how silly the report was, gotta give any governmental agency points for actually acting with common sense.

as for the school reporting it, that was CYA taken to a ridiculous level.

I still think the court thing is worse.....I mean a 12 yr old doesnt like being grounded, and can have a case heard in court? seriously?

Yeah I agree. Not only was the case heard, BUT THE KID WON. Absolute insanity.

I don't know about Canada, but 'corporal punishment ' will result in CAPITAL punishment for parents in places like MA.:eek:
