Watched "Stigmata" this weekend. One of the worst movies ever, I'm sure. Dumb-ass psuedo mock-religious mumbo-jumbo. Gabriel Byrne and Jonathan Pryce, totally wasted. But the surround ambience was great. Well recorded, constant, with powerful bass and lots of detail. Stupid stupid movie -- some nudity could have saved it (Micah's Movie Nudity Rule) -- but really great system workout!

Any other examples?

I was very disappointed as I really like Gabriel Byrne. I wouldn't have even WANTED that chick to get naked....

A movie that sucks, even if it has great sound, still sucks.

Stigmata has really great sound but the movie wasn't that bad. At the time all those end of the world religous flicks were coming out , like end of days, now that sucked.

Micah I totally here ya, good nudity always compensates for at least an extra star. hence embrase of a vampire. LATER

In reality, "Micah's Movie Nudity Rule" means:

1. If he takes his clothes off while he's watching, it's a GOOD movie.

2. If he takes his clothes off while he's watching and ATTACKS THE SCREEN, it's a GREAT movie.

Want to bet he wakes up in the morning, nude, on the floor, with a bad headache, A LOT?

Micah, if this is true, I like to suggest a Good movie for you to watch, A French film, not rated (you can rate the movie yourself after you watched), the title is "ROMANCE". Go to this link for more detail:
