View Full Version : Why don't tube cdp's have air vents?

All mine get about 95 degrees on the outside. I don't know how much hotter it is on the inside. Maybe that's not hot enough to do any damage.

I've thought about drilling some air vents on the top or sides but I don't want to unless it's necessary.

I would do that; drill 1/4" holes all over that thing.

And what's the deal with 5 tags for this thread and likewise with all your other threads????? Instead of making tags useful, you are clustering the tags in a way that it makes it very difficult to see what's available. People are going to think you're just trying to get attention :confused::confused::confused:

The tubes on my Raysonic CD128 get nice and toasty. They are wide open and accented by blue LEDs.

Mine has vents right above the tubes.
