I have a 504 (and the P-304 preamp) sitting in its original box. It's 100% perfect functionally and, as I remember, in mint condition cosmetically (I'd have to get the box and open it to check).

I change/upgrade equipment quickly so the 504 and 304 were used for only a year or so and then retired.

The amp weighs 55 lbs so you'd have to consider the shipping cost.

dholmes, I have to check out the amp first as it's been a while since I last used it (not that there's anything wrong with it as I only pack away equipment that I consider worth keeping). I can only get to it early next week as it's at my parents house. I noticed there's also a 504 listed at audiogon.com?

I got the M-504 out of storage today and it's in great shape cosmetically. In the meantime I've read so much about using a second amp to help the receiver out (mine's a Denon 3803) that I'm going to be trying the 504 for my front mains (LSi15s). If I decide to go ahead and sell the amp anyway I'll let you know, dholmes. BTW, I'm not really looking to trade for that receiver you mentioned. There's also a bunch of 504s currently on eBay--have you checked those out?
