I have a Yamaha HTR-6130 reciever that lets me equalize the center channel speaker to sound more like the left and right channel speakers. The Hz options are 100Hz, 300Hz, 1KHz, 3KHz and 10KHz. Im pretty knowledgeable when it comes to basic home theater setup but this one part I can never get right. My center channel speaker is a CSi3 and my left and right channels are R15's. Ive been tinkering around with the Hz settings but cannot seem to find the PERFECT combination of settings to make the center blend with the left and right channels. Is there a possibility I could get some help with this? Maybe i'm missing something or missing some important information when I am trying to do this. Thanks!

I had my Yamaha at 100Hz +3.5, 300Hz +3.0, 1Khz +2.5, 3Khz +2.0, 10khz +1.5.

But that does'nt mean you'd like it. You might try it and tweak as needed.

Are you running Left/Right/Center and a sub ? I did'nt have rear or surrounds and had good luck with boosting the speaker levels, on the fronts/center/sub.

I now have a higher WPC Pioneer but set it up similar. Still, the Yamaha was sounding pretty good.

Im running a full 5.1 system with all Polk speakers. I just want to get them all calibrated and sounding alike. I'll try out those settings though - thanks!
