After searching almost endlessly for replacement cables, I have come to the conclusion that my best bet, may be with Frank's cable's.

I have a question for you people. On the page;
http://ww.signalcable.com

I see that for a pair of bi-wires with spades, goes for about $90.00

Then for $125, there is a (double run) bi-wire pair?

What on earth is double run? The cables in the pictures look freakishly simular to the Z2 bi-wires.

A double run is just the 4 conductors divided into 2 dual conductors.

There are 2 ways to do a double run (shotgun). 1 style is to put the hi & low together on separate + or- runs. The other is to put the + & - together (it's still a 4 conductor off the amp) for each the hi & low.

I'm currently running hi +/- and low +/- as this is dictated by the fact that silver is great for highs, but sucks for lows. If I had the same wire across the board, I'd separate the + & - when possible. I don't know how Signals are designed, but it might be worth investigating or customizing.

Giddy,

Thank you for the response. The above description is how I felt all bi-wire's function.

Will be sure to keep Frank in mind when I replace the Z2's.
