I have been getting an occasional hum out of one of my RTIs. It is real sparatic and doenst happen all to often, but it is enough to have me concerned. I would like to think I am pretty smart when it comes to hooking up my gear and knowing how it works however I cant seem to isolate whats causing it. If i remove any of my equipment (except the amp or reciever of course) from the system it still comes and goes when its on so i guess i can narrow it down to either the amp or the reciever. Now if there is one thing i cant do (other than plumbing) its the science of electricity. The manual of the amp suggestes running a ground from the grounding post of the amp to the grounding post of the powercenter. If my outlet is grounded and your using a three prong cable isn't it alrdy grounded? the ground indicator on my powercenter and voltage stabalizer both read ok? Any input would be appreciated. ps its late and I'm tired so i did not bother to proofread or spell check this :)
