Anyone try the 'premium' outlet at Home Depot? It's all of $4, but seems to have a bigger contact area, and made better than the standard version. I'm curious as to what differences there are between it, and your 'boutique' outlet at a hifi shop.

The boutique models all feature dual polarity inverters mounted just out of sight below the flux capacitors.
No, I don't know but that sounds pretty coool. I have considered higher quality outlets and using those Glade plug-in type filters. They're supposed to help eliminate appliance 'pops' which plague my rig despite my ACE 515 AC enhancer.
