Bought this recently as part of a RT5000 system to get the RT3000p mains. I've already got one in rosewood, so this one is for sale.

The unit is black, works great, but has some minor cosmetic issues. Amp powers up, volume adjustment knob works with no static, and drivers all work. Sounds great, just like my unit.

Top has an area about 3" x 3" with some indentations. The finish is not broken, just kind of pushed in, sort of like something blunt scuffed it. The grill fabric is OK, with slight abrasion on the top corners. One of the grille pins is broken, but still there. A few other minor surface scratches that a little furniture polish would probably take care of. Not bad for a speaker of this age. Like I said, minor cosmetic issues. In a typical darkened room, you'd never notice anything but great sound.

I bought the RT5000 system from a pawn shop, and I'm guessing the cosmetic problems came from being on the sales floor, or being moved around, not from the previous owner's neglect. It came with the original manuals, urethane pads for the RT3000p's and the interconnect cables, as well, so I don't think the unit's had a hard life.

I paid $800 for my CS1000p about a year ago, as I recall. $600 seems fair to me because of the cosmetic issues, but if I'm nuts, and you are serious, make me an offer. I'm in ATL at 30092 so local pickup is preferred, but I can ship it.

I've got photos if you like. Please PM me with your email address and I'll get them to you.

That wasn't a serious offer, in case you didn't catch on to that. You've been spamming up the forum trying to jack your post count up, and now you're trying to avoid the 25 post rule by posting them for sale in someone elses thread.

The 25 post rule is here for a reason. This is a community, and most people don't feel comfortable buying stuff from a complete stranger, that they don't know from the next guy.

If you're just looking for a place to unload your gear, here are a couple sites you might want to check out...

I do not / and did not mean to offend. This is my first time on one of these post type of sights.
Much like surfing one needs to know the etiquette.
Thank you for taking the time to explain some of the basics to me.
I have a very eclectic sort of system with mixed speakers and ohm ratings with what I think is an ok head unit. It seemed like time to clean house on the speakers and level set a good speaker system.
I was trying to get the count up so I could ask someone who seemed to be more informed than myself as to what range I should put these at.
There is also the challenge of learning all the buttons and where to go to do what on this site.
I've been putting the system together for years and it seems I took a few wrong turns with parts and pieces.
Also understand the part about knowing the person (or having a virtual sense of them) before buying something. The risk is the same on the selling end.
I originally searched on the links you provided and the equipment was nowhere near the quality or knowledge base as the folks her.
So I got lost on the site just trying to post back to what I think is helpful advise from you and wanted to thank you for. How do you suggest I approace from here or what pointers can you give?
