Hey nik, whats the model on those? I am looking for a pair of stands for my LSi9s. Also, did you fill up the stands with sand or lead to weight it down? Thanks

Honestly I wouldn't recommend them. These are what I was using for my Rti's in my HT. I am just using them right now to get me by. I am going to be buying some better ones that are fillable.

But if you want them now there a cheap stand that works until you get something better.

Right now there on sale through Amazon for $30.00 shipped.

Nothing... I haven't found anything in that price range that I would want.

The stands I am using now are some what sturdy and would get you by for a cheap alternative.

But the ones I want and plan on getting are these http://www.racksandstands.com/StudioTech-US-30-RW-B-SO0139.html

They look filppin sweet and are fillable. I think being able to fill them not only makes them more sturdy. But more importantly makes the nines sound better.

Is this right or a typo? A pair of 31" tall speaker stands for $30 shipped... and they weigh 180 pounds total?

Well.. Like I said. If your in Dire Straights and need some stands. Pick those ones up from Amazon for $30.00 You might like them and find that is you all you need.

I'm pretty happy with mine. I'm in no real hurry to pick any up. I am going to pick those ones up I mentioned when my money is right. But its not like the stands I am using are killing me or anything.

I am just going to get those ones because I am going to try and squeeze every inch of fidelity I can out of my system.

It just depends on your needs and what you want to accomplish. I am trying to build the best sounding 2 channel rig I can afford to get the best possible sound I can. So its a priority for me. You may not be as hardcore. Like I said it just all depends on what you looking for. If you just need some stands for the 9"s for HT use or something. You would probably be fine with the Sanus stands from Amazon.

I dunno. Probably a typo. But I wouldn't get those at all. The part the speaker sets on. And the base look very small. The Sanus stands I pointed out to you on Amazon handle the nines pretty well. But I wouldn't dare put anything larger on them. There also the same price. Do you just want silver stands or something?

I have also never heard of Tech Craft or whoever those silver stands are made by. Sanus is a pretty well known name for speakers stands I think. While the ones I have are cheap. They wrok pretty well. Big base, floor spikes and you can hide the speaker wire. Not to mention there a $60.00 stand on sale for $30.00
