What is the difference between analogue and digital interconnects. I have an extra MIT Terminator 2 interconnect. Should I use it as a digital connect from cd player to DAC or use a regular digital cable.

Analogue are 50ohm so use the regular digital cable.(75ohm)

Not sure why this 50ohm thing keeps coming up, analog audio isn't impedance matched like digital coax is so the 50ohm stat is bs. Most people don't use 50ohm cable for analog audio, ex. SC Analog II...75ohm not 50ohm.
That said many brands use the same cable for both and just package differently. Ask MIT for the specs on the cable to determine if it is compatible or not. If it was designed for analog audio it may not be 75ohm which could cause issues. If you are a cable believer it may be stranded core while many feel solid core is better for a digital coax, plus the shielding may differ.

If it has a network box, I wouldn't. As Gaara suggested, call MIT.
EDIT: I have a extra Shotgun S3 I could try next time I climb back there.

Thank you for responses...will do follow up. I use MIT interconnects thru out....was hoping to stay consistent. Connect Sony DVP-S7700 as transport to MSB LINK III dac. From DAC...using MIT Terminators 3 to preamp
