Can you guys take a look at my setup?

Hey guys, I"m planning on buying the following items: (listed below). I am going to put all of that in a SUV. If I put the subs in the trunk, facing the back will it hit with some hard bass? I have been watching some YouTube videos and IDK how mine will live up to rattling and sounding all together. Any comments will be greatly appreciated! Thanks again.

I think you need more wattage for your subs.

I think that you would get a better sound QUALITY if you increased your amp to like 200-300 watts. NO ONE needs to be rattling there car apart but if that's what you want than go with 500-800 watts and a bigger sub. But in my opinion if your are just trying to impress people or get there attention at lights this is not they way to go. A nice balanced sound with some better speakers and a tuned sub will be very nice. So in a recap I would get some speakers bigger amp and if you want the BOOM BOOM that kills your ears a bigger sub. Also just reminded myself to say that a Alpine head unit would me better in my opinion they look better and they seem to hold up better as well. I had a Pioneer that the ejection did not work all the time after a year of use. So I got a Alpine and been using them ever sense.

I actually think thats a pretty solid setup. True you wont be setting any SPL records and if youre wanting to blast your windows out that aint gonna do it but if youre just wanting some good solid bass to fill out your music then thats a good choice. A pair of quality 12's even with 300 watts will do pretty good.

Personally i would get a bigger amp for the subs. At least 150rms power for them if you wanna move some air.
Another thing a capacitor is not to made to stop your lights from dimming and it won't.
A cap is used to give your amp all the power it needs for big hits when the battery/alternator doesn't keep up.
Yeah the cap will make sure the amp has proper current but your lights will dim anyway.

That amp makes 325 watts RMS bridged at 4 ohms mono. That sub box is a 4 ohm mono load. The box is rated at 300 RMS. Perfect match.

Forget the capacitor, you won't need it. Upgrade to the 5000UB, two lines of text is really, really, really nice.

Hey, first off thanks for the replies. Anyway, I changed my Head Unit to this (link below). Also, for the subwoofers/amp. The Crutchfield "experts" said that it would be perfect, even a litte bit more than needed which some of you had mentioned. My father has one 12" MTX sub with a cheap amp. That thing hits pretty hard no joke. I tend to play this with Bass on the amp all the way up, also on the stereo. I have seen some videos and I think it will rattle things pretty good. What do you guys think? Appreciate the help, advice once again.

I would stay away from that head unit dual is a cheap company now quality behind there products. Go back to the one you had or alpine.

Take the advice from above..... alpine has some very nice products
