Ceiling mount RTi4s?

OK, I know this is not ideal, but since I was not able to design the room I have to work with what I got.

I have some RTI4s that I want to use as my surrounds in a 5.1. I picked up some of the BTech BT77's in an effort to wall mount them, but due to the height of the RTI4s and a strategically placed window on the side wall I cannot use them there.

My next attempt will be to ceiling mount the RTI4s and angle them down towards the listening area.

So the question is, does anyone have any suggestions for a ceiling mount bracket for the RTI4s that will handle the weight of that speaker?

I have looked at the OmniMount 20.0 bracket and cannot tell if it will work with the keyhole slot on the RTI4s or not. Maybe drilling the speaker and using a bracket will work?

Please advise if you have any experience with this.

I'm using the Omnimount 20.0s and RTI4s for my 5.1 configuration and they are ceiling mounted as well.

I did do a modification to how attach the Ominimounts to the RTI4s so that I did not have to drill into the cabinets.

I used the keyhole mount on the RTI4 powerport bracket to attach the threaded portion of the balljoint.

I bought oversized washers to fit on the inside and outside of the keyhole, then inserted the threaded portion of the balljoint thru the keyhole, and then screwed on nuts from both the inside and ouside of the keyhole opening and tightened them against each other the oversized washers creating a 'sandwich' with the powerport bracked in the middle - this ensures that the threaded bolt can not come out thru the keyhole).

Hope that made sense - kinda hard w/o a picture.

The base portion of the omnimount was then attached to the ceiling with drywall anchors.

In my setup my RTIs are angled down and in from the back wall such that a bottom corner of each RTI4 touches the wall to help relieve some stress from the omnimount so that it does not have to carry the full load of the speaker.

So far...everything is still snug, tight, and safe - works great.
