The hell I do - I stay away from a bunch of topics I know nothing about. Sorry if the content or quantity of my posts offends you.

Ya know what though? I learned a lot from you guys and from other forums. When I got into HT, I asked many of the same questions about bass management and LFE and subwoofers. I was confused too!

What helps me (besides being an engineer by education and profession) is a literally photographic memory for numbers and statistics. It is both a blessing and a curse.

That's how I got my nickname, actually. My shooting buddies were so astounded by my ability to regurgitate rifle cartridge long-range ballistic information that they coined the nickname "Dr. Spec". I've used it ever since for all my on-line forums.

So I'll help when and how I can, and at the same time stay humble and keep learning from others more experienced than me.
