buzz

I hope someone can help me. I have a denon reciever and I use the pre outs to a carver m400 amp then to my monitor 10b's
I get a buzz from my speakers it is a low volume buzz but it is
a pain. is this a prob with my amp or do i have a bad ground
somewhere?? any help would be great.:(

sounds like a ground loop issue to me. Do a search and there is some good info on it.

get yourself a line condioner or a cheater plug. worked for me have had no problems at all and took the buzz away.

thanks for the suggestions but what is a cheater plug?
and do you think those small monster cable line contioners
for about $130 are any good??
